Why did Lottoland chose the Amputee Support Group?

The Amputee Support Group (ASG) is a voluntary association, registered with SARS as a non- profit, Public Benefit Organisation (PBO # 930 053 148). We rely solely on the generosity of the public and corporate communities to ensure that we achieve our objectives, the main ones being:

Providing care and counselling to amputees and their families.

Procuring sponsorship for the purchase of prostheses and mobility aids for financially challenged amputees.

We are based in the Eastern Cape and amputees relying on state-funded prostheses are currently facing a 4 to 5-year waiting list. For children and breadwinners, this is simply too late, and we are trying to make a difference in the lives of a few of them.
